Clean-up

The Clean-up represents Resources left from dead warriors after a Battle. The amount of resources left for Clean-up is equal to 10-15% (the value is chosen randomly) of the Resources that were needed for the training of the Unit. This amount of available Clean-up can be checked by pointing on the Castle or empty field on the Map.

Along with Resources, there could be some wounded soldiers left on the battlefield. Those soldiers could be healed and then join your Army. In order to do that, you must have Infirmary at least at level 1.

By Clean-ups players get equal amounts of all 4 kinds of Resources.

For example:

When on the field there is 20 000 Gold, 20 000 Iron, 20 000 Wood and 20 000 Food, and your Army can carry 10 000, you will get 2 500 of each Resource.

This is not true only when there aren’t enough Resources to fill the Army’s carrying capacity equally.

For example:

When on the field there is 2 000 Gold, 20 000 Iron, 20 000 Wood and 20 000 Food, and your Army can carry 10 000, you will get 2 000 Gold and the remaining carrying capacity of 8 000 will be filled with equal amounts of the other Resources (almost equal as 8 000 divided by 3 is not a integer).

Motivation:

  • Clean-up Marches can only be Motivated for Speed;
  • Clean-up Marches can be Motivated for Cargo;
  • Clean-up Marches can be Motivated for Clean-up motivation (more info in motivations section);

Healing:

Тo be able to cure some Units, there have to be at least 200 wounded soldiers on the battlefield. Bulgarians' and Byzantines' bonuses allow them to cure Units, when there are 150 wounded soldiers (and still 200 for other nations). The healing itself is done by sending a March of type "Clean-up", using any battle Unit. The type of the healed Units doesn't depend on the type of the wounded ones. Only Infantry Units are healed (except in motivated for clean-up marches), their types are determined at random. The percentage of units you heal is between 1/2 of the level of your Infirmary and the level itself, chosen on a random basis.

Example:

If your Infirmary is at level 6, you will be able to heal from 3% - 6% of the units. There are 200 wounded people and you have your Infirmary at level 6, let’s say that you are going to heal 4% of them (chosen on a random basis) - 4% x 200 = 8 - that’s 8 healed Infantry soldiers.

The type of infantry units that you will heal - Pikemen, Swordsmen, Macemen or Axemen - is chosen on a random basis.

After every Clean-up the number of the wounded people, left on the field, decreases.
